I acutally tried 2 of thse ebay units on a job awhile ago...one worked flawlessly and the other one constantly gave me image issuses. I ended up rigging wire runs about 30 feet in the air in the end because everytime id fix the problem a few days later it would act up again...that was just my experience with a 35 ft building to building use.

the gf called mgm today and they said depending whos in charge that day will depend if I can get a tour or not of there setup...she said they seemed pretty lax about it think thatd be pretty cool though ive got my fingers crossed

was just wondering how many of you are allow to work in this industry without a license? It was just implemented this year in Oklahoma...

is there any kind of faq about IP cameras/network? Basically a noob at this concept and am not really sure i understand the jist of it...how is this a different concept from remote viewable dvrs? are there ip cameras that can run off of wireless internet?

For 1 Camera we shall have 1 DVR Full frame rate, Full resolution!

 

Because if 1 DVR fails then just replace it, some even have 2 pallets with DVR's not in use: 1 for new in box and 1 pallet for DVR's going for service!

Not too many conventions come through OK however I would think some come to Dallas. You might look into some of the ADI expos however most seem like mearly marketing crap.

thanks...havent been to ADI in awhile theyve always been a little "proud" of there products pricing wise haha ill give them a call and see if theyve got anything going on...usually get my wire/fittings etc from SGI I think I missed a convention they had a few months ago.

thanks...do they ever have any cctv conventions in okla or texas that anyone knows of? Is it worth the trip out to vegas (aside from the obvious reason that its vegas ) to go to that one?

are you having to run a separate power wire with the cat5 method? if so do you run each power to a local power source by each camera or run them all to the same power distribution box
