has anyone took apart this camera to make a direct connection-bypassing/eliminating the bulky wire/connectors it came with ? (I have 500' CAT 5 cable) plus i dont need the separate pwr (POE) . want to drill the smallest hole possible into cement. vs. the larger one this connector requires.

responding to myself ... i went ahead opened up the camera housing and found no way of disconnecting the pig tail from the housing; its moisture sealed at the back oh well; here comes the big hole in wall - first need to buy a bigger carbide bit.
