  1. in building there is no everything designed correctly so... I can't unplug power cable from camera. camera is mounted very high and I can't get to it. it is of course correct, that after poe there is no need for power cable, but if I'll plug both to the camera poe+power cable. will it burn? yes, but nvr and camera are placed in different places, so there is no possibility to connect camera to nvr with poe. but, I've poe injector which works with there cameras.
  2. Hi, this is my first post on this forum, so don't judge me , if I have something miswritten. So, I have ip cam IPC-HFW2100 and nvr5816 (old model, not DHI-NVR5816-4KS2). at night ipcam shuts down. I can't even ping it. I 'm monitoring it with prtg. it shuts down about at 18:30 and turns on about 08:00. I have already upgraded firmware and downgraded too, but problem still exists. there is no problem with current. camera is connected with power supply. on this power supply are connected other cams too, but they are working just fine. I have second camera, same model IPC-HFW2100. working hours are not exactly, but about same. it behaves same. but I can ping it, but I can't access http. it does not records. I'm trying to connect with telnet it works sometime, sometime doesn't. I was following this tutorial - http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=44928 (thanks for author) I have upgraded/downgraded firmware, but can't resolve problem... on nvr and on cam there is configured schedule for record all 24 hours. but it doesn't. there is no problem with network. I have idea, that this is somehow releated with night vision of camera, but don't know how. If you had problem of this kind, please help me. thanks!
  3. thanks tomcctv for reply! I think there is problem with current cable is long enough and this is there fore I think. I have made some research and found this - https://www.cctv42.co[.]uk/help-advice/faqs/i-m-having-problems-with-my-cctv-camera-when-filming-at-night/ (there is square brackets on . I think , I don't violate rules of this section) there in voltage drop paragraph is what causes problem, I think. but here I have another question. can I plug camera with poe and power cable at the same time?
