  1. Let me tell you the composition of the cost of ip camera , we considered only think about cost of materials, regardless of the brand

    1: First sensor, coms of the lowest cost - followed by sharp ccd-sony ccd

    2: Compression format: M-JPEG-"MPEG4-> H.264

    and other reason: audio, double-stream, megapixels ,TVL,PTZ and so on. but this 9060ls i can sure it is the coms and M-JPEG,60 usd is good price,but not the best price.

  2. This is a double-edged sword. In my experience most customers do not want to pay for quality (define quality). I have had pretty good luck with equipment I have installed BUT I have had failures and I can usually determine why. In one of our cities the electrical grid is horrible and have also found several properties not grounded or have lost the ground due to the salt air around here. May be a coincidence, but once the ground issues were repaired, all has been OK since. Dead pixels, occasionally but rare. As survtech points out, it all depends on the environment, surges, brown outs, etc, etc, etc

    I used to keep track of the number of cams I have installed but not anymore. One of the biggest issues I have run into is water migration but have learned to tighten everything as opposed to installing right out of the box and I always bench test prior to installation. I figure spend the time here. I know it will not eliminate a long-term failure but saves embarrassment at the job site.

    I do know what you mean though. You price a job only to have to go back which eats your profit. I warranty my local jobs for 6 months parts and labor but after that I will replace the component as per the manufacturer warranty but charge a reduced hourly rate. I have never had an issue as I clearly state that in my proposals. It's not so much the money as it is reputation. Although the customer will say, no problem, what is he or she saying to a friend who could be a potential customer but I think our prompt response and having replacement gear on hand makes all the difference.

    really agree with your said,you pay money,you get quality.most people is like save the money,of cause save the quality.

  3. i am sure you should find it from china,why?because too many camera manufacturers,maybe ther can Custom the camera for u.at least from the outside of camera , I knew that there are 30 manufacturers can produce, and even the pinhole i had look.

  4. £150,i think you can get the constant speed dome camera,not high speed dome camera.the other Features like one of that:1/3 sony ccd ,480 TVL,F:5-60mm,12X zooming,LUX: 0.01LUX and so on.many options you have,even you have chance to get a constant speed dome ip camera for this price,but i am not sure that's ip camera have a low lux.

  5. you know,POE mean Power Over Ethernet,802.3af mean that the power Transmission by ethernet,i mean,network cable.so,there have a synthesizer that synthesis the power and video date.so,the router must suport the 802.3af.but the poe ip camera support two ways link the router,one is poe jack and another way is general cable jack.

  6. that is good news,but i am not sure that is you need.i think you can try this:

    first:make sure the cable and power is work,i think There are few lights, power work lights, cable work light。

    Second:if you don't know the ip address,that's ok,you can usre the ip find tool search the camera ip.like IP Scanner.if you can not find,call me.

    Third:after find the ip ,try the username and password:admin/admin,admin/empty,admin/123456,and so on.
