which CCTV allows smart alarm triggering

hi CCTV can be very confusing so i am asking for your help. I am considering CCTV smart system and choice between Hikvision and OYNX (which is consider slightly lower quality but much cheaper). Can OYNX 4mp system over coaxial cable be able to trigger smart alarms (e.g. create email/push notification) or can only ip cameras do that? What are fundamental benefits of IP solution over analog coaxial cable? Regards
