  1. In the meantime time I set up a vpn tunnel and removed the port forward setting from 37777. Now I can open IE and access my NVR with the openvpn connected (phone and laptop). But still odd with the dns and proxy rejecting my login with IE but not firefox.
  2. Hi all, Fairly new to the NVR world. I've been using motioneye on homeassistant but wanted a dedicated nvr. Picked up a fairly cheap dahua 8 channel for the 6 cams I have. Using gDMSSplus app which works fine and pssSmart on my pc's. I sadly found out that I can only use IE to access locally directly to the server also! Now I have nginx proxy manager set up and use this to forward ports 80/443/37777 to handle the hosts internally . Also set up a new DNS name with noip and enabled that on the NVR. If I access my https://dns with firefox it lets me in but obviously the browser is not compatible so I cannot view the cams only the settings etc. But if I log in remotely with the https://dns using IE it says 'login failed' ! Odd that firefox lets my proxy login but not IE? I'm somewhat confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
