Hikvision remote playback help needed

Hi folks, I'm using a hikvision nvr and looking to connect offsite to the nvr with a mac. Mac support is limited from Hikvision and the browser plug-in doesn't seem to work right. Im looking to salvage the setup since it's a 64ch nvr. What was the software you recommended? Unfortunately the Mac has to stay in play.
