  1. I just got a Digital Watchdog DWC-VA853WTIR 4k starlight Specs below. Dvr is a swann dvr85580, allegedly compatible. Hooked it up, nice picture, records and plays back in default 4k. Great. I notice I can't turn on starlight via OSD, says "not available". Read the manual, says starlight not available in 4k. Well thanks for letting me know in fine print in a manual I had to download, on an as advertised "4k starlight+" camera... Anyway.. I go through osd to set resolution to 1440p, (option are 1080, 1440, 2560, and the manual doesn't say WHICH non-4k setting is needed for starlight). I save and exit the menu camera, go back into osd, starlight now says "off" instead of "not available". Great. Progress. I highlight OFF, realize I can't change it, then realize I can't change ANY settings, I can only scroll through them. Like I'm stuck in some read only mode. Have power cycled many times, including with and without cameras powered on. I've left that camera upowered for 45 seconds, I've tried connecting it to a different channel. It still gets recognized as set to 1440p and cannot change anything in the OSD. Even did a factory reset of the dvr, no joy. How do I clear the memory and set back to default for this camera? Per manual, Tlthere is an option in the OSD menu, but obviously can't select it. Thanks in advance. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1633000-REG/digital_watchdog_star_light_plus_dwc_va853wtir_4k.html Btw I'm accessing the OSD via my dvr which has a digital up down left right and select buttons. I don't know of any other way to access it. Thanks.
