    Unify-Dahua Compatibility

Hello everyone, newbie in the field here. I have some compatibility questions and concerns if you could help me answer. So I got put in charge of upgrading our company’s CCTV setup. Currently we have 8 UniFi IP cameras (UVC G3 or something simmilar, 5years old) running on Zoneminder. The idea is to migrate away from Zoneminder an adding a few 4K cameras to our setup. If it was my call I’d take everything down and I’d put Dahuas on... but it’s not. So the current plan is to get some (4-5) 4K Dahuas, connect all the cameras to a single NVR running SmartPSS. My current concern is that this won’t work. I’ve read that UniFy cameras don’t support Onfiv and I don’t know how that impacts things. I also don’t want to be stuck in a proprietary ecosystem where cameras cost twice as much. I want to learn some good CCTV practices to make the whole thing better. Regarding SmartPSS – I’m open to suggestions and need opinions, it’s not set in stone but the possibilities interest me. I’d greatly appreciate if you could point me in the right direction.
