  1. Trying to rewire this camera after the wires were pulled out of the two white connectors inside the camera body. The smaller 4 pin has a green left in it but the 6 pin plug in empty. X vision manufacturer says the pinouts and spares are out of stock due to the cameras age. (2015 to 2018). Most frustrated as this camera was working well and would again if I can repair it. I really dislike throwing away electricals if it can be avoided. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. More pictures of the board available if this helps. Printed on board is RU844-0 1402 if this helps

    Newbie

Hi. Just registered but have been using an analogue system for over 7 years without many issues. A couple of dead cameras and an issue remotely logging in but nothing serious. The system has "protected" our property and given us the appropriate images when required. It had detected and undoubtedly prevented further occurrences of crime in the immediate vicinity so I am pleased overall. Now Ive broken my favourite camera I am looking at how to repair it so I have kind of decided to see if I can resurect the dead ones as well just for laughs, and education of course. There interesting things. Anyway, I ramble on. Greetings my friends. Regards Simon...

X vision XC960VV Dome cam project

Ripped the cable out of the back of the camera leaving the white connectors inside the dome and bare wires for me to figure out where they go. 😢😢😢 It took a while to work out how to disassemble the eyeball body to assess the damage I had inflicted when I ham-fistedly removed it from the gate post. Would anyone have a pinout diagram handy or a photo of the control cable showing the connection order please? I will have to source the control cable's metal plug inserts from the web to put the wires back into the white connectors. Reassemble, test and refit the dome. Created myself a nice project after breaking the poor thing. At least I have the luxury of time to fix it now although the good lady wife wants it done yesterday! Kind regards Simon. M7
