  1. In the Camera/Audio menu there is an activate button that when you open it it only allows you to check boxes 1 through 8. Is there a there a physical jumper or sometthing that enable the second plug worth of bnc? Sorry to be such a pain but it seams like it should be intuitive.
  2. That's the issue, I can't figure out how to enable the 9th camera. I've gone through every configuration I can find and cameras 9-16 are grayed out.
  3. I guess what I mean is that I have a GV800 with 2 plugs coming out of it that have 8 each bnc dongels. One set is black and the other blue. I just assumed that I could lower the FPS and get more than 8 cameras running without having an outside switching box?
  4. Can anyone tell me how to install the 9th camera in GV800 system? Thanks
  5. I'm pretty new to this to this stuff so bare with me. I'm about to publish my Geovision 800 video to the internet. following is the short list of what I think I need to do (I could be confused though). Please let me know what I'm missing or just straight wrong. If anyone could fill in more details I would really appreciate it. What I have: Geovision GV800 running on XP modem to the ISP(still need to purchase) static IP address Linksys router What I think I'm suppose to do: modem to phone line modem to router router to computer get my ISP (verizon) to publish my static address - Is this true? open up ports to allow access in (where is this done - router?) then what?
  6. Thanks for the help, reinstalling it took care of it.
  7. I tried rebooting still just a video lost signal. I tried the camera straight to a monitor and all is well there.
  8. I just got my Geovision GV800 and after instalation with a GE-Interlogix camera I see no video on that camera in the GUI. any help...
