    I have the exact same problem as eismarsh, USB to PC connection fails to recognise the DVR as a mass storage device on both XP sp2/sp3 and vista 32/64. Subsequently when attempting to utilise the software no vineyard data streams can be detected. eismarsh did you manage to overcome this problem. Thanks Mike
