Hello, I bought a JS-RTA dvr some time ago, and regretthat I am just now getting around to installing it. Can someone please help me. I am able to log into the dvr remotely, but can't see the cameras remotely. I cant find anywere in the instructions of wich ports to forward in the router.

I also had problems getting the remote viewing option to work, i feel your pain. you have to find out what ports your system requires to be forwarded. when you get this info, you have to forward the ports in the dsl modem. you can get the instructions how to do this at portforwad, or call your service provider and heve tech support walk you through it. you wil also need the ip address for the port that you are using. you can get this at whatismyip.

Any suggestions? I'm looking to pick up a 16 channel, 2 audio input, pentaplex system. Thanks

Hello, i'm looking for suggestions on purchasing some vandal dome cameras. The features that I want is for them to be day/night, high resolution, and able to mount to a brick wall outside. there is some lighting at night, so it wont be total darkness. My local dealer said he could order a three axis cam would work on the wall, but i just wanted to check out more options before i place an order, thanks.

has anyone used this dvr yet? I'm thinking about getting it. Looking for remote recording capabilities. I browed through the manual online, but I didn't notice if an email can be sent out if an alarm is trigered. Any positive or negative info would be helpful, thanks.

I figured that I needed a computer runing client software. By being on the same network, does that mean I need a dedicated T1, or will regular broad band work?

Hello, I am looking to get a 16 channel dvr with two audio inputs, internet capable, 500g harddrive, and be able to allow a computer to record simutaniously from a remote location in case the dvr is taken. Does anyone know of a drv that will perform theese functions? thanks
