  1. Hi- Story: I have a GV-1480, it was working fine with this PC, and then one day, after transporting it was not detected by WIndows any longer. I sent the card to Geovision, and they said firmware was corrupt, so they re-flashed it, and now i have it back. It won't detect still on my PC. I did stick it into another PC i have laying around, Windows 2000, and it detected , and asked for drivers...so I assume the card is fine. Problem: SO, how do i troubleshoot my system? It worked before, it meets specs for Geovision. PC#1 (Primary PC for GV-1480): Windows XP (MCE) Motherboard- Asus P5KPL-CM MSI Video Card (N94GT) Intel Core 2 Duo Geovision Version 8.3.1 PC#2( spare PC): BioStar MB -Windows 2000 -No Geovision software installed **** So far...I tried... 1) Genereic Serial Port PCI Card: -PC#2, detected -PC#1, detected, in all slots 2) Geovision without MSI Video Card installed (Just used on-board Video): -GV not detected. Geovision GV-1480 Card (PCI version): -PC#1, not detected (with MSI video card installed) -PC#2, detected NOW WHAT?! Thanks to all replies in advance... I'm really frustrated, and lost for options.

How to use Video out on GV-1480

I have GV-1480 with 16 cameras... I purchased a 42" TV and have mounted it at front of store, so customers can see themselves walk-in...typical application at many businesses.. I'm currently using the Video-Out of the GV Card... the single yellow connector...Display works, but it will show whatever camera view I choose on the software. So if I switch to backroom, the TV also switches to backroom... So my monitor output of PC is basically same as video out of GV card. Can I set up GV to display one view out of the Video-out, and seperately run "Multicam V8.12" on PC monitor?
