    Private System

Not sure if what I "imagine" is available as a commercial "system". What I want is a system that goes from camera (battery operated and wireless) thru MY network to a HDD (of some sort), accessible from my Windows 10 Laptop - with NO internet access AND NO cell phone involvement. I am not interested in remote viewing on a phone. For my money making your "security system" available to the internet kind of defeats the purpose. I don't know if there are software packages out there that can record multiple cameras to some HD, and have camera controls AND viewing work with a PC. OR... what cameras work with what. Not interested in cameras that EACH have a SD card - that is stupid and a waste of time to the user. One recorder and PC access. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. New to this stuff. Thanks.
