Hello

This is my first installation of stand alone dvr.

I have avc 761

Works fine in lan when dhcp is enabled thru router.

 

Now i would like to see the dvr remotely (dynamic ip)

I assigned static ip of my dvr to 192.168.1.103.

forwarded port 3006 thru router

when i scan i get the port is open(port scan)

when i try to access thru browser it shows problem loading page.

 

network setting

 

server ip :192.168.1.103

gateway : 192.168.1.1

netmask :255.255.255.0

web port : 3006

 

iptype

static ip: enabled

 

ddns

 

dns : 203.145.184.32 ( dns of my system)

 

ddns : enabled

 

username : xxxxx

password : xxxxx

domain : cnet. homeftp. org

system name : dyndns

 

 

I dont know what i have missed please help.

Hi, I just managed ot connect to your cctv system using the following address in my browser:

 

http://cnet.homeftp.org:3006/

I saw a PTZ on cam1 and a office desk on cam 4

 

Some broadband providers have some kind of loopback problem where if you try to use the external IP from within the network, you will not be able to connect as with BT in the UK. Ask a friend or colleague on another Internet connection to confirm this for you, but works ok for me from the UK.

 

P.S you wrote the domain with spaces in it, all i did was copy what you wrote and removed the spaces and added on the port number

securicorp, that really interested to me. are you using the standard username and password, or you know there is a security hole in AVC 761? how's it? do you mind sharing?

I would also be very interested to hear of any security hole with internet login.

I know that the system is supplied with a default password but is it possible to subvert this?
