4 ch eco DVR

Recommended Posts

We have started selling this now for low end jobs. not a bad unit, actually easy to use and looks nice. No LAN, quad DVR only, but still for the money, it is worth it. Dealers can PM me for a Dealer price and link to contact to buy. They are located in Miami.

Anyone know who makes this originally? Id like to see if they have a version with LAN.

Thanks

thanks, yep, its dead cheap, will get one for myself, any ideas on a web server for remote video, something available in the US.

Its going to be a big seller around here with or without a web server, as we are marking up hardly anything, to beat out the competition. Most people here (or in the ghetto) dont seem to care about remote video anyway, for a cheap one with remote video they are selling the HiSharp also at better prices than I can get from my regular distributors, like $100 less.

Thanks

I dont see the point of the web server add on though, its cheaper just to buy the HiSharp 4 ch one time ..

the one I have though, is only a quad not a mux, plus we do not see any motion recording function.

hey, you're up early/late!

Does anyone sell that in the US though? Maybe Eclipse is selling their Web Servers also, they have them in their price list also.

EDIT: just saw Vitek is in the uS, whoops, thought that was the AvTech Link. Anyone else sell it in the US? Like on the East Coats?

Thanks

also, off topic, the demo for the Vitek lan DVR is not impressive, at least maybe it is the cameras they are using and its night time, do you know if the remote software can be changed, eg. like an ActiveX or SDK?

thanks

No, as far as I know you can't change the remote software on the networkable DVRs. The Vitek is the same unit as the Nuvico fyi. You might want to check out a couple of other remote sites.

These are dynamic IP setups, note the host name instead of an IP address.

FYI these DVR's do not come with a HHD for that price do they??? From what I have seen they are empty on storage and you can add what you want. Please correct me if I am wrong.

you can get them with or without a HDD, prices vary. 4ch 40GB is about $320 dealer price, no lan, quad dvr. ($250 without HDD)

We have sold buckets of them, until today, when I finnaly sold the last lot, i will still stock them, want to bring in the new model with Lan, the cheaper version your using without motion detect is not sold much here but the one with motion (more expensive) is really popular, I will still hold these units but the Nadatel is going to cream it by features plus has webserver, remote access, loops, alarms, rs232 etc etc, so that goes into my price list today, we will soon see if it is a price or feature driven market.
