Help with WV-CP484

Recommended Posts

I have been playing with a Panasonic WV-CP484 with a Fujinon D/N 2.7 - 13 mm attached.

I am very impressed with what I have seen so far, and since I have it indoors for testing and getting familiar with the controls, I noticed this morning with some light coming in through the window it seemed to be trying to switch to color mode. I can turn the lights on and it will go color, but if I do not the picture looks as if someone has added a blue filter to the lense and I don't know what to do to make that go away short of turning the lights on. It is just a bad transition if it is the way it works.

Do I have a bad camera or does it take this long to switch back and forth? Also, my BW setting is to Auto1. Is there a setting that I perhaps have changed that is causing this? Is there a test that can be done on this cam to check for all features/functions working properly?

Thanks for any input.

turn "Sens Up" off

make sure SD3 is ON and adjust the level around "100"

set DNR to low

on B/W Auto1, set the level to "low" and the duration to 10 seconds, be sure to turn Burst "off" as well.

Thanks for the info. I will be trying that setup tonight and will report back tomorrow I hope.
