Cameras imported from China pic jumps- PAL to NTSC or?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I tried doing a search for a previous post of something like this but didn't find anything. My problem is that we had a CCTV system in a warehouse in China that we closed. So we had the system taken down and shipped in. We bought a new transformer to supply the 12DC to the cameras. When the cameras are plugged in they give an image that seems like the vertical hold is broken. The image just keeps flying vertically off the screen rapidly. Is this because they are outputting in PAL? There is a menu button and maybe a way to change to NTSC in the menus but I can't see the output on screen to do that.

I also don't have a PAL monitor (I don't think I have anything that will display a PAL signal)

Any advice? Thanks in advance for any help.
