slowforthecones 0 Posted January 26, 2009 If you have a have a retail storefront or office with a showroom. Give the manufacturers rep a call and let them know you want to sit down and talk. It helps when your talking to ask them for displays pieces as you really like the quality of their product and wish to carry their line. Mention you push 1xxx+ per quarter or annually. As a guy with a small 1000. sq. ft. showroom/retail office.. Bosch and Pelco do send a sales person over every quarter or more frequently. If my numbers are down on orders, someone will swing by or call and ask if I need more product marketing materials. I've even received a few spectra Ivs and bosch autodomes just because sales were slow on a particular month. Rule of thumb.. play one manufacturer against the other...i.e. say your going to not carry the other soon....usually get you some freebies. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
