DIGInet 5.2 compatibility

Recommended Posts

I have a number of Kodicom PC systems installed at client sites using 4.13 P8 or P13 and 4400 capture cards all genuine. My question is can i install 5.2 software form dvr-usa and what real advantages would my client get from this. Will it allow us to integrate IP cameras and if so what IP cameras are supported. it there any way to get a demo copy of software to fully evaluate using existing board. We want to move out clients forward without having to scrap everything they already invest in.

Dear,

I had the same exact question when I found out that there is a 5.2 Ver.

Downloaded it and installed:

1- I couldn't find any IP camera integration section.

2- The colors and the Layout is really unpleasant "The Red"

3- Couldn't use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F4 to quit the application

4- Remote Client Still doesn't work under Vista

I hope this answers your question.

Zach

1. IP Camera is an upgrade. Depends on how you buy 5.2

2. Red is the new Green

3. We have changed the way you exit the application. Please contact our support department for instructions.

4. Remote Client 100% vista compatible

Hello,

Yes we do have an API. Please contact me at jason@saysecurity.com. We have WM5 and WM6, but many are looking for the iphone. Perhaps you could get some new business.
