CHOPRAMO 0 Posted August 12, 2009 I have installed two avtech 761s at different locations. Both have static IP. I have done the port forwarding in the router and was able to view them on the net successfully. However, for the past three days i am unable to connect to the DVRs despite being able to ping the routers. I can open the home page of one of the routers from a remote location by typing it's IP but cannot do the same for the other router. Need Help.......... peterbriss 0 Posted August 13, 2009 I cant say that I am expert with this but more than likely it is one of two things. 1. The ip addresses that are assigned are entered incorectly (or some part of the subnet mask, etc.) 2. The port forwarding is not set up correctly. I would also reinstall the software to make sure there is not a problem there. You have to double check the addresses and then make sure your testing from outside of the network. What routers or firewalls are in place? I know that may not be much help but you have to take care of all the little things first.
