No view through dxclient

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have just installed a dvr-kit with four cameras and everything seem to work out fine except for my connection through internet / LAN.

I can connect to the dvr with the program dxclient,

I can change the settings in the dvr through this and also change camera,

However there is no image, just pink !

When restarting the dvr, I see a small part of two cameras,

I have tried to update my codecs but nothing happens,

Any suggestions ?

Thanks you / Leyla[/img]

Please try to reset the internet security options:

Under ActiveX Controls and Plugins do the Following:

* If they are already enabled or prompted - leave them alone.

* If there is only an option between enable and disable - Choose Enable

* If there are options between enable, disable, and prompt - Choose Prompt

Had the same problem for 6 months !!!! SORTED it...

Set your DVR ip to whatever range yours has with last 3 numbers to over 100. (ie 192.168.0.100)

For some weird reason, if the ip of the DVR is in the low figures, you get problems.

The rest of your settings seem to be right f you are getting the pink image.

Just remember to forward your ports on the router to the new ip and also reserve the ip address of the DVR in the settings of the router.

Best of luck, PM me if you need more details. was on the verge of buying a new DVR.

Hope this solves it for you
