Hello ! Newbie needs help with Hikvision Network DVR

Recommended Posts

Well the hunt is on for a phone or app the connects to my DVR.

What phone? If you have iphone, just search for ivms-4500 on the app store, it is free. If it is another phone, you need to be mopre specific.

To test my understanding, My linksys will have 2 entries (8080 and 90) in "Port Forwarding" both pointing to the same 192.168.1.102 ?

And yes, you will have 2 entries, but I think you have already solved that by now

Hello,

I have an Motorola Cliq w/ Android v1.5 - Motorola stated they have no plans on updating my firmware version. My phone is to old

Motorola wants to sell "New" phones, not fix their old ones.

Hikvision website says they don't have an app yet for Android OS...

My nephew has a Iphone and we tested IVMS-4500 earlier today...pretty cool

I should have purchased an Iphone (2) cell phones ago...

Let me know if there is an app for my Motorola Cliq (Android OS v1.5)

Thanks!

My Hero is rooted and I have no problem installing APKs myself, will check it out, thanks!

Any hints on where to sign up to know when they release the final version? Does Hikvision have any kind of mailing list, forum, or something to stay updated on their hardware/software releases?
