NV5000 I/O

Does the Avermedia NV5000 have built in I/O capabilty, or do you need to buy additional I/O box? I only need one or two inputs for starters, and what I read on Avermedia's site leaves me thinking it has 4 built in.

Hi with the NV cards you need to add the I/0 box.

Is that true of any of them, or only the NV3000 and NV5000. Looking at the picture you attached, it needs a db9 port to plug into. Does it also require the purchase of the 4 port audio board?

 

I found another quote here that led to my confusion. Sensor/Relay Built in 4 sensors and 3 relays; Expandable up to 132 sensors and 131 relays via an E-I/O box

I see now you need a NDVR4AudExt to connect the I/O box to. It still seems like they printed the wrong information in the brochure.
