coastwatch 0 Posted May 16, 2011 Hi, I have a Intellex DVMS DV16000 Version 2.4 When the DVR is turned on a message appears " A disk read error occured - ctrl + alt + del to restore. I tried a new hard drive and got the message " reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device " Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated. dvrtiger 0 Posted May 17, 2011 You have to set cd drive in bios settings as first boot device and than you have to reboot your system with recovery cd in it to restore your system. Do you have recovery CD set for that version? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Thanks for the reply, I dont have the recovery CD, is it availble anywhere? Also is the viewing software availble for viewing the DVR over the network onsite.
