Chinese /Avtech DVR with FTP backup or HTTP JPG for each CH?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

2 years ago i bought an AVTech 760AS, but... was stolen... So, i have to bought a new DVR.

I need to have this functions:

1) D1 recording. 1 file por each camera.

2) D1 viewing by internet.

3) FTP Server inside (NOT Client) OR a url showing a JPG image for each camera (JPG better than mjpeg) (Better if needs a password).

4) Compatible with Android.

5) Send email when a physical alarm (connected to DVR) detect something. (It would be better if it had an schedule)

6) 16 CH/ 8CH (Better 16)

Point 3: I mean that have a URL how http://www.dyndns.org:150/cgi-bin/Image.cgi?ch=5, that can show an screenshot of camera 5. This is not impossible, my last DVR can reproduce mjpg with this url: http://xxx.dyndns.org//cgi-bin/guest/Video.cgi?media=JPEG , but only for one cam. This is very useful to upload images to a server or generate files.

I was searching for a cheap DVR that have this funcions, but only chinese and Avtech DVRs have a good price for a 16CH DVR. Whats the problem?

1) AVtech have a poor software. I can't believe the functions at their web because they have a lot of bugs... (Schedulings, ftp and email with an image attach)

2) With chinese DVRs i can check that there is two type of web software. One it's rubbish... they needs IE (ActiveX) to view cams over the internet. (Android & similar works, but it's very limited by the software 'meye'). The other o don't know... because i can't find a URL to check it. But I can distinguish by the pictures.

Once type chinese web software (rubbish): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16CH-H-264-Network-CCTV-DVR-Recorder-PTZ-Mobile-Monitor-/370530327750?pt=UK_CCTV&hash=item5645541cc6

You can cheack some example very easy... Only seach in google "NetServeillance WEB"

Second type chinese web software:

It's very important to me to send images or files to a server. The thief can take the DVR and with it the hard drive...

I check that no one of cheap DVR's have FTP server, and FTP Client is not automatic and have very hight limitations... This is the reason that i have to play with mjpg and jpg urls.

I try to cheack if the chinese horrible ActiveX software, get urls with commands, but i can get nothing with WireShark. Only binary information, not text with urls... I also tested in android (Shark), with the same result. (Note: i have the password and user for one specific url)

In the other side... AVtech have a fantastic mjpg url (I had to look for myself) and allows to view quictime video with any media player. I don't know if with the latest DVR's have the ability to play one mjpg url for each camera.... Anyone know this??

And I think it only records a video for all cameras...

For the alarm function, i saw that some DVR's have this functionality in their advertising.

So... the questions is, Anyone know a cheap DVR that has these 6 features??

Sorry for my terrible English!! And thank you for your time!!!

PD: Budget 150-260$ + shipping (Outside Europe) . 250-300€ + shipping (Europe)
