CCTV manufacturer for partnership

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm looking for a good cctv manufacturer for a partnership, I will install and resell its products to clients and I want quality products.

Reading some comments on the forum and looking at products catalog, I'm oriented towards Samsung Cctv products.

I hope someone can give some suggestions on the matter.

Bye

Its best to call the manufacturer and have them put you in contact with a distributor

Hi SEANHAWG,

this is the next step, now I'm in the process of choosing the right manufacturer.

What do you think of Samsung Cctv ?

Previously I was oriented towards Cnb, but I've seen many people suggesting Samsung for a better price performance ratio.

Bye

Well Samsung is not necessarily a manufacturer. They have companies manufacturer for them. CNB is a manufacturer.

I assume you are just looking for some good Brands to re-sell. Samsung products are good but CNB has better prices. You will not be able to buy direct from either company unless you think you can buy a ton products at one time. Its best to contact Samsung or CNB and they will put you in contact with a distributor from who you can buy from. Shoot them an email or give them a call.

Exactly.

I was wondering if was worthwhile to go for the cheap one, like Cnb, or concentrate on more "famous" brands like Samsung or Panasonic paying more.

Someone here suggested the latter viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26125&p=159594&hilit=samsung+cnb+night#p159594

and I think I will choose this way.

Bye

take into consideration though they dont make cameras like they used to ..

seems alot of CCTV cameras suck now compared to their older counterparts.

I guess this could be one reason many are moving towards IP.

This isn't very reassuring, considering that I'm going to buy the new ones ...

Well Samsung is a big brand, as far as current cameras should be good to go.

Personally I never suggest a camera I have not tested yet though.

Unfortunately due to funding restraints (broke) sometimes we have to take a gamble.

Just look at the warranty each brand offers and that should give you a fair indication of whether its a good brand to carry or not.

It seems that Samsung offers 3 years warranty ...

I dont think you will go wrong with carrying big brands such as CNB, Samsung, Pelco, and other well known brand names. They have been around for a while and got a good reputation and stand behind their products.
