raphael3x 0 Posted December 5, 2011 this is my DVR it was working normally these days I am no longer able to access it with the computer restarts and some unexpected DVREMOTE the manufacturer does not answer emails and do not know what model it to try a firmware update, I found on the Internet which comes closest to it is the icatch opened my DVR and it's written on the board 611 SDVR it can be a clone of icath? manufacturer GUGOV model GGVDVR9816 16 channels Please help me!! what happens if I try to update with firmware icatch? CCTV_Tech 0 Posted December 13, 2011 As a general rule, firmware updates always check to see what they are updating, therefore in 99% of the cases, a firmware update that's 'close', will not work, nor will it make things worse. Note too, that one of two things will happen: either it will error-out with something like 'no compatible hardware found' or, if I am totally wrong, it will work 100% perfectly.
