best ip cameras to use for Casino table games

as topic said what would be the best IP cameras to use to view tables at our casino. and can i slit the image from the camera so that i can view on a spot monitor. need to know before i purchase the wrong stuff.

There is no best that I know of. I would treat IP MP basically the same as I treat analog, with a couple of extra points to consider: key things to look for are the ability to provide 30fps reliably and the ability to provide high quality video under your specific conditions, like lighting, etc. Check for excessive noise (which will cause high bitrates), AGC action (which can cause image overload) and bitrate for acceptable picture. Also look at warranties, replacement policies, etc.

 

My best advice is to work with your supplier and test a few.

Consider camera with 60fps if you want to catch a slight of hand type cheating. Keep in mind you need very good low light capability because you can't get even 30fps if you need a 1/15th exposure to do it.

I think you may try to use some cameras during the trial and then if they're OK - buy them.

I installed Geovision GV-BX220D, is a Box camera 2 MP with a 2.8-11 MP lens, 30 fps, it really works perfect. You can do many adjusts on this camera for differents situations.
