ivanvak 0 Posted March 21, 2004 I'm an artist working in Philadelphia and greatly need some advice about a digital surveillance project I'm working on. I have no experience in this area so desperately need some advice to get this off the ground. The project is as follows. I want to install no more than 4 color cctv camers in a room. The cameras will record for a four week period. Then for a further four weeks I want to play back the recorded footage interjecting it with live feed. The work would appear as a split four screen on a monitor at the location but I want it to be viewable on the Internet. I use a Mac platform that I'm familiar with and want to use my equipment rather than purchasing a PC. Does anyone have suggestions on hardware and software to realise this project? Any costings that people no of would help as I'm currently writing a grant application. Please contact me if you have any questions. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
