AVTECH firmware update

Hi,

I have a AVC796BZ DVR with a old firmware inside (1007-1001-1003-1001)

What's the last (and right) firmware to update my DVR?

I've found only 796 (v. 1177), 796A (v. 1022) and 796B (v. 1014) in the download page.

Hi. avtech units should only need to have a firmware update if you have problems. if you dont have problems then leave your unit as it is. firmware are for fixes. it does not make a dvr newer. also if you load the wrong software I.E regional. you will kill your unit.

 

V1014 is for the B units z being the region of where unit was sold. its a 50/50 guess
