alducks 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Are the right drivers loaded for the card? What error are you getting? Rory Loaded whatever drivers were on the CD that came with the card. Runtime Error! Program:C;\PROGRAM FILES\CYBERLINK\POWERVCRII\PVCR.EXE abnormsl program termination Ive rerun the set up a dozen times by now..same results when I try to run the PowerVCR software.. Any thoughts? Jasper 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Looks like the Cam Wizard software will do motion detection. http://www.soft14.com/Home_and_Education/Home_and_Lifestyle/Cam_Wizard_10627_Review.html Have your tried installing the Cam Wizard software to see what that does for you? On the CyberLink PowerVCR II you don’t need to try and install it anymore. There is definitely something that is preventing it from running. I am not familiar with that particular program, but am wondering if you even need it if you are going to use the Cam Wizard software for monitoring the camera. As long as the drivers for the card you installed are working, which you can tell by right clicking on my computer, then choosing properties, then hardware, then device manager and looking for display adapter, then click on the + sign to see the listing below that. You can then put your cursor over your card listed there and right click on it, choose properties and on the general tab it well tell you if your card is working properly or not. rory 0 Posted November 8, 2005 run time error is an error they could have done something about, but didnt. But that could take alot of extra time and maybe they were on a dead line .. Too many things can cause run time errors .. do you have enough hard drive space, is the program looking for something in particular that isnt there ..? What program is this ..? Got a link? It looks like a good little program if it will work for him.
