Geig 0 Posted January 30, 2013 Problems that need to be overcome: 1: this is in minnesota. temps expected are from -20F to 120F. 2: not sure what kind of power supply i have at the gate. 3: no DVR, so ip camera would be best, (bonus for wireless) 4: needs to be good enough to get info on the make/model of the car and driver description as it comes in past the camera. 5: business' building is 300ft? away any suggestions? lansa 0 Posted February 25, 2013 I would definitely look at a Mobotix camera as these are designed for harsh temps (they have one mounted with a view of Everest) and have local recording to SD card, as well as excellent resolution for what you'll be needing.
