james991985 0 Posted February 1, 2013 I use a 1240 dvr card in my pc. I have diffrent variteis of camers such as dome and a ptz camera. I have noticed when there is movment like a dog in the camera view. Somtimes the single camera freezes picture and then after about 10 seconds later the dog in picture has moved from one side of the cameras view to the other side and it doesnt show it got there it just jumps after it freezes. I was woundering if it is the dvr card, my pc, or is the cameras I have. I notieced it happens to diffrent cameras not just a single camera, but never at the same time. Can anybody help. Thanks. Todd 0 Posted February 12, 2013 Check hard drive(s). Data is being sent to drive but it can't take it all so it basically backs up and system jerks once data goes through. You may be able to test it simply by stopping monitoring (recording) and seeing what happens.
