bnc and power connector got ripped from camera

Recommended Posts

Somebody cut my 48 LED IR bullet camera's connectors. Now all I can see is 2 red 2 black and 1 yellow wire coming out of the camera. Tried to connect a bnc connector and a power connector to it. The only combination that worked was :-

both red to +ve,

both Black to -ve,

yellow to core of bnc

and both black (already connected to -ve) to outer of bnc.

I was able to view the camera but I am little concerned as the connection does not sound right.

Please help me out.

Out of 48 cameras you didn't get 1 pic of the dude?

its one 48 led camera not 48 cameras. And I did get his face.. unfortunately no topic in this forum lets u discuss how to deal with a person who vandalizes your property.

The connection is correct. You have 2 reds and 2 blacks because the ir board is connected separately:

Red = +12V: Video board power

Red (+white) = +12V: IR board power

Black: GND: Video board GND

Black (+white) = GND: IR board GND

Yellow: Video signal
