richardtheboffin 0 Posted March 28, 2013 I'm on the lookout for an economical 8 channel DVR. Should be able to record all 8 channels at half D1 or D1 res at 12fps or better. I need some alarm inputs and outputs too. An HDMI output at full hd would be nice, but not essential. Most i've looked at can't really do many fps on all 8 channels and lack alarms. Numb-nuts 1 Posted March 28, 2013 Where are you, whats your budget and how long do you want to record for how many cameras? You can buy the cheapest DVR on this earth but if it's unsuitable it won't be economic. Also do you want NTSC standard or PAL standard? Some will do both, but I have been out to install lots of cameras that someone bought o ebay only to find they are a mix of PAL and NTSC.
