billa 0 Posted May 28, 2013 Hello. I am fairly new to this forum and hopefully this is the right place to ask this. Has anyone run into access control systems that require a complete UL 294 rated system? The reason i ask is because i work for a network hardware company and we are about to launch a UL 294b rated PoE Ethernet switch for use in UL294 Access Control systems. Although I am not part of the product development process I will be tasked with selling the product once it officially launches. Thus far all the Access Control people that i have talked to have little to no interest in this product and i fear i am either asking the wrong questions or its really a niche offering as many of them have never heard of UL294. If you have experience installing UL294 rated systems i would love to hear your take. Your expertise on the matter is greatly appreciated. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
