Difference between Dahua NVR5208 and NVR3108?

Anyone know the main difference between these units?

I purchased the lorex (hikvision) costco system, and the fan is too loud for me. Looking for an alternative.

 

Will the hikvision 3PM bullets that came with the Lorex system work with either of these Dahua NVRs?

For starters, the FPS per channel is less on the 3108 which means less bit rate as well. The 3108 only has 1 sata slot and the 5208 has 2 sata slots. The 5208 can record a 5mp or 3mp camera, the 3108 cannot. And I am sure there are other differences, I'm just too lazy to find them.

Thanks Vector. I guess I'm too lazy to do the direct comparison myself, too. Any thoughts on the hikvision camera compatibility?

Hikvison IPC can using onvif protocal to intergrate to Dahua NVR. But anyway, we don't recommend you using different brand in one system if you have choices.
