SOS HELP!!

Recommended Posts

I have a question

setup Farm house in country, pole light only for night time lighting, possibility of small yard landscaping lights around home.

I am needing a camera that is going to give me really good night time images.

I am trying to save this man some money even though he said he doesn't want the **** cameras. However in todays budget and lack of his knowledge I don't think he truly believed me that cameras can go for over 1000.00. Regardless I have a vendor that is suggesting a camera for me and I will be honest I am hesitant since I have never purchased thru this vendor before and if I don't like it I don't want to have to deal with returns etc..

(Time is money)

I have been thru these forums and seen your replies and believe you are the person to hit up on this issue.

I am going to place one camera on the front corner of the garage ease...this camera will be one that will be angled so it catches the front of the garage and the sidewalk & main access door to the home. My goal is a wide angle so I can catch all of this and the driveway if someone is pulling in. (this camera will definitely catch the headlights of cars driving down the long driveway (250')

I am placing another in the barn which is zero light at night to over look his tool area, and two more on the outside which will be mounted under the pole light to have overview of external fueling stations for tractors etc... and a second building access doors.

the last camera is going to be in the house in the basement to keep an eye on his office area and to see if the basement is retaining water.....

here is the vendors option for the drive way camera:

here are two cameras I was deciding on prior to this vendor's choice:

the other question is in dark outside environments where lack of lighting is an issue which camaera is best...the exview or super had ccd chipset? for zero light situations in the outdoors?

thanks a million!
