kmax1940 0 Posted July 19, 2013 Hello, well this url was working at one point but now it says "404 not found". http://192.168.1.121:9988/onvif/media_service/snapshot.jpg The firmware may have been upgraded since I saw this snapshot working but I cant be sure. Here is the current info: Software Version2.210.0001.0.R, build : 2013-05-17 WEB Version3.2.1.105704 Anyone have any info on how to pull a jpg stream from these Dahua 2100 cameras? buellwinkle 0 Posted July 19, 2013 Just open a support ticket with Dahua and they are very good at responding and getting you a firmware update quickly. All kidding aside, I have the same issue on some new cameras and I've tried every possible avenue to get it resolved, emailed their tech guy directly, entered it on their support site, pushed it up through my distributor, and nothing, nada, zilch. Dahua working hard to ignore it's customers. There's no HTTP URL that will get you a stream, it has to be an RTSP stream and that works. You'll have to search around for it or Google this with the quotes - "dahua cgi url api commands" and it will take you to the URL commands manual for Dahua.
