PTZ control software

Recommended Posts

I've added a USBPTZ camera to our product line and i need control software. My users want to pass the PTZ controls to users in other locations. The camera is 720p/60, USB2.0 (see attached file)

Any suggestions?

Why don't you ask the manufacturer of the USB PTZ camera that you added to your line of products? And why are you selling it if you can't support it? And where is this attached file?

the OEM is looking for the same thing. they have an executable that works on the local PC. i want more than just local access; it's a better camera than to waste it on just a web cam.

the forum wouldn't allow pdf or docx files.

and i'm only selling it in specific environments right now...several of our clients are evaluating it to add to their video conferencing capability but that remote access is important.

i think i wrote it's 720p; it's actually 1080p:

• Low-light CMOS, adaptive brightness adjustment

• 1080P format for high-definition output

• USB2.0 digital interface, driver free installation

• Low CPU utilization

• FPF focus control mode, (locks the focus point image)

• Manual fine-tuning focus via remote

• Compatible with the majority of

video conferencing software.

• Supports Linux and Android as well as Mac iOS

• Infrared remote control operation, effective distance 7m

• Supports RS232 serial control

• Supports UVC FECC

• Lens area: 1 / 2.7 "

• Effective pixels: 1920x1080 Pixels

• Zoom: 12x zoom lens

• Focal length: 4.0 ~ 48.0 mm

• Lens angle: maximum 43 °, minimum 7 °

• Video format: MJPG, 1080P, 720P, 1280x720, 640x480,VGA

• Pan: 300 ° left to right/Tilt: 90 °

• Operating voltage: 12 V external DC

• Operating Current: 800mA mechanical PTZ

• Video unit: 110mA

Dimensions: W90 x L110 x H105

You've got to be kidding. The manufacturer can't even figure out a software to work with their camera and your asking this

forum? WOW!

If you posted something that prompted a valid response, than that is what you would have been given. But asking the

forum for software that will control a ptz that even the manufacturer can't come up with and your are selling it AND

this is your first time posting here, than, it looks like you deserve nothing but busting your chops response.

i'm looking for a programmer or a company who already has an off-the-shelf solution willing to sell their time and/or solution. i've found such expertise in forums like this for several years. if this one isn't about that, no worries
