P1347-E Vs. IP8362

Hello,

 

We are currently using about 4 Vivotek IP8362 bullet cams and we are so far pretty satisfied with the performance (we have no problems so far about a year into operation).

 

Now here's the kicker; we recently acquired a lot of 3 new Axis P1347-E cameras (we figured at a grand for all three was worth it).

 

So far, this is the only thing we really know:

 

IP8362:

2MP

Short-range IR

 

P1347-E

5MP P-Iris

No IR

 

Is there any other difference? Also, would you recommend that we swap the Vivoteks out for the Axis? The IR is not an issue; we use the color mode at night anyways (there's enough light apparently).

 

is there a difference in quality between DC-Iris and P-Iris? Also, will the 5MP make a difference compared to the 2MP?
