Motion detection probleme with dvr1604p-a

Hello

 

I have a dvr 1694p-a brand new

Bios version 2.608.0000.2 build 2011-5-27

 

Motion detection mode is set up

Problem : the system always detect motion while there is none. Therefore the system akways reccord

 

I have tried to change sensitivity from 1 to 6

Is there any adjustment that i missed

Make sure it's set right.

There may be two places to set it. Such as you may have to enable it under each cameras setup but also in the schedule.

I am sure about settings

But what i ser is that the video when it is dark is like there was water in it... Maybe this is what detect the dvr as motion.... Difficult to duscribe but maybe the signal is not stable enough? What can we do to stabilize this video signal especialy us dark condition. The camera is bosch true day night

Hard to say without seeing the problem but maybe the connections are bad or you're getting reflection back from the ir LEDs.
