Any advice how to protect rtsp feed?

Recommended Posts

I have an IP camera that the rtsp feed is unprotected - and anyone(!) can to connect to it.

The problem, is that i need to open it to the internet (and not only to the local network) become i use a remote server to record the feed.

Do you have any advice how to protect the feed?

This may be the wrong forum, unless you are using a camera for access control. For example, I use a camera for LPR and grant access based on plate match, but even then, most on this forum are discussing access control like RFID card readers and such.

If you have a question about how your cameras works, your best bet is to discuss this with the people you bought it from.
