Question about cables

Recommended Posts

I'm building a system with 8 channels Dahua HDCVI DVR (HCVR5108H-S2) and i'm using 2 1080P vari-focal HDCVI Dahua bullet cams and 2 1080P fixed lens Dahua dome and 4 720P fixed lens Dahua dome .... i just wanna ask about what's the best wiring for this system ? RG6 or RG59 coaxial cable or Cat6+Balun and the max distance in my system is 50meters ...THX.

I don't know .if have only installed them using solid copper core Rg59 siamese cable .

There was a bunch of video around here comparing the different cables and picture quality .

Solid copper core rg59 was best for hd-cvi from what I remember .

A 1000' spool ,a new compression tool , a new Rg59 stripper , and a handful of bnc

compression ends for less than $200 and guaranteed clear beautiful 1080p quality

Video with no headaches.

Hd-cvi was designed to work over existing rg59 siamese cable .
