Same MAC and Serial Numbers 2032 Hikvision

Hi,

 

Today I connected five 2032 Hikvision IP Cams to my network and I realized that they have the same MAC and Serial Number (I used the SADP tool).

The big problem is that I can't watch them simultaneously in my NVR because they have the same MAC Address and the network can't identify them properly.

I bought the cams from aliexpress 3 months ago.

If you bought from Aliexpress, most likely the vendor is using sets meant for local use (china use with chinese firmware and language) and "hack" them into english firmware.

 

During the process, they might had just clone the settings and the cameras results in devices with identical mac and serial number.

 

HIKVISION will not support these sets. You'll have to figure out how to reflash the firmware yourself. There are some threads here with the guides.

 

Alternatively, get the vendor who sold you the sets to assist you on that.
