The BVMS detect a previous install was done on the PC.

1. Do a clean removal of your BVMS using uninstall or Windows restore point.

2. Reboot PC

3. Reinstall BVMS

Yes detected but I uninstall everything.

Unfortunately I have no restore point.

I rebooted.

I try to reinstall but when I tried I get the message what you see on the picture.

I check the manual for BVMS. It shows DO NOT DELETE BMVS LOGBOOK.

Okey but what happened if the file injured or in this situation somebody delete that?

So If you have any idea let me know.

This was completly clean windows 2012r2.

We installed the the BVMS 6.5 the first time.

the licence is valid I am sure, because we check the computer signature and sent to bosch and bosch sent back the licence.

I cut this from bosch manual.

Backup all individual configurations and important logbooks. (e.g. elements.bvms).

Do not delete logbook files (BVMSLogbbok.mdf, BVMSLogbook.ldf).

Note: The encoder’s IVA / Motion+ settings remain untouched.

Do not delete!! but we delete so I could not belive we fucked up lot of thing with these.

When I try to restart it look like bvms want to make new database (logbook.idf and .mdf) but i got the message what I attached on my first post.

I could ignore that and installation finished and BVMS working 70%, because when I try to change recording or the date for the endecoder(VIPX1600) I get IO error.

I installed some big system but I never delete these database. So now I am totally stressed for it.

I try to pick up the contact with Bosch, but ther issue I am just a subcontractor, and Bosch always want to know who is the custumer. I could not tell him I am this or that.

So if anybody has any idea let me know.

Maybe should I delete all the SQL and reinstall?

Hi. Clean windows ..... Did you have it installed on that PC before you cleaned your windows.

If it has been on a PC before then you need a new licence

It stops you loading onto other PCs

HP PE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Server with 2012 r2 it was clean PC.

So you mean if bvmslogbook.idf and MDF were deleted after the first installation. I will try to reinstall the bvms it does not work because I need New licence.

It is no make sense the Computer signature did not changed,Just because I delete this db file. And licence for the Computer signature.

Just because I delete this db file.

It makes sence.

A licence is only for one machine ...... It stops people from loading it onto multiple machines or even reselling the software on the likes of eBay.

You have used a clean windows ... Removing the security key

Which is not a problem just contact bosh support give your last key and you get a new one

But if you are not the original owner then again you need a licence.

It is that simple .....
