Adding 2nd HDD to my Lorex DVR

Hi, Turns out that I can't add 2nd HDD due to not enough space in my Lorex DVR (DV9082 therefore I would like to make on my own. Is there and splitter cable for SATA that I can get and make it 2nd HDD?

what size hard drive is in now

It was 2TB and I upgraded to 6TB. I was hoping to add 2TB as well.

How many days are you looking at storing 

 

1 hard drive only for that recorder 

problem is only 1 data connection.    

1 sata port cants be split     It would just mirror the first drive plus you would pop your recorder as power unit would not be good enough
