What is the most recommended system these days?

I have 2 of the Swann NVR460 systems and while the cameras themselves are fantastic, great picture quality, great audio quality for what it is, but the NVR itself is a huge POS. 1 system the NVR died. I replaced it. It too, died, the POS. The other system, all motion recording stop working and only way to record is 24/7. That would be fine if the damn thing indexed motion, but it doesn't do that. So, after 5 years of fartin' around, it is time to replace both units. Wondering thoughts on systems that are under $200. Or am I way underpriced? Don't mind spending a few $$$ more as long as it is a reliable system.
